Happy New Year From Wild Oats and Notes!
Now that we’ve got your attention!!! Our confirmed dates for the upcoming festival are June 29th – July 1st!!!
And we’re happy to announce just a couple of the amazing acts joining us on the farm this summer. 100 mile house, and The Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra will be on the bill for 2018!
Stay tuned for some cool new developments, and more info on our 2018 lineup!
It’s going to be a great year!
Well, the wheels are in motion, and we’re excited to announce that 2018 is an ON year for Wild Oats and Notes! Info on tickets and performers will be rolling out in good time, but for now plan to join us out on the farm from June 29th – July 1st!!!
We’re trying something different this year. Alpha Ya Ya Diallo has agreed to host an African Rhythms & Dance workshop the morning following his festival performance. So if you’re a drummer who wants to learn some new techniques — bring your drum. Or if you’ve always wanted to shake your moneymaker like an African dancer, drag it out of your tent and join us in the yard for an hour of cultural awakening. Absolutely free!!!
Saturday, July 2nd, 11:30 AM.
Even if you’re not from B.C., be prepared — Wild Oats & Notes is a cash only festival. Anyone who has attended the festival can attest to the fact cell phone service is dodgy and inconsistent throughout the site, so we’ve decided to remain Cash Only and minimize frustration levels for patrons and volunteers alike.
If you find yourself spending more than you planned (which can easily happen once you see our awesome food and merch options) there are ATM’s in Tofield, about a ten minute drive away.
Anyone who’s a fan of Tin & the Toad will not only love seeing the duo perform their Tweener set on Saturday evening, they’ll be ecstatic to hear the full band (and special guests?) will be cranking out tunes for the volunteer party Sunday afternoon. Volunteer, and you can enjoy the T&T experience while eating and drinking for free! Hot Damn!
