EVENT DISCLAIMER, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By entering or attending this event (“Festival”), all attendees acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Voluntary Participation
Attendance at this Festival is voluntary. Participants assume all risks associated with attending a large outdoor event, including but not limited to risks arising from camping, weather conditions, uneven terrain, wildlife, insects, fire pits, vehicles, equipment, crowds, noise, food service, and recreational activities.
2. Alcohol Consumption
Alcohol consumption is permitted only in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and Festival rules.
Attendees who choose to consume alcohol do so voluntarily and entirely at their own risk. The Festival organizers, landowners, staff, volunteers, contractors, performers, sponsors, and affiliates assume no responsibility for injuries, illness, property damage, death, or other losses resulting from alcohol consumption, intoxication, impaired judgment, or the actions of intoxicated persons.
No attendee may provide alcohol to minors or any person prohibited from consuming alcohol by law. Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry, deny service, remove, or eject any person whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or poses a risk to others.
3. Personal Responsibility
Attendees are responsible for their own conduct, safety, personal belongings, vehicles, camping equipment, and compliance with all Festival rules and applicable laws. Participation while impaired by alcohol, cannabis, medication, or other substances increases the risk of injury and is undertaken at the attendee’s own risk.
4. Camping and Outdoor Hazards
Camping and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including slips, trips, falls, exposure to weather, wildlife encounters, fire hazards, and other natural or man-made dangers. Attendees accept these risks and agree to exercise reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others.
5. Medical Treatment
Attendees acknowledge that emergency medical services may not be immediately available. In the event of illness or injury, Festival organizers may contact emergency services but assume no responsibility for the provision, timing, quality, or outcome of medical treatment.
6. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, attendees release, waive, and discharge the Festival organizers, event producers, landowners, staff, volunteers, contractors, performers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to attendance at the Festival, including claims resulting from negligence, except where prohibited by law.
7. Indemnification
Attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Festival organizers, landowners, staff, volunteers, contractors, performers, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from the attendee’s actions, omissions, misconduct, or violation of Festival rules or applicable laws.
8. Removal from Site
Festival organizers reserve the right to remove any attendee from the event site without refund for unsafe, disruptive, illegal, threatening, or prohibited conduct.
9. Photography and Recording
By entering the Festival grounds, attendees consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded and grant permission for such images and recordings to be used for promotional, marketing, archival, and commercial purposes without compensation.
10. Acceptance of Terms
Entry onto the Festival grounds constitutes acceptance of this Disclaimer, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability. Any person who does not agree to these terms must not enter the event site.
